when you are able to see things from different sides, you will be able to transform the negative energy to positive one, and use it as your motivation, as something to push you, to pull you out of misery, and stand even taller than you were before.
that's what happen to me.
who has never had their heart broken? anyone?
some people lost their mind and do stupid and silly things, in dealing with it.
it's not easy, no.
i know how hard it was to deal with heartbreaks, to let go person whom you love, to deal with your own feeling and life, to arrange things all over again, and moreover.. to forgive and forget.
but well, i did that several times. not all of it were that successful, but i did.
this last time when my heart was broken, i learned lots of things.
i don't wanna be drop dead.
my life was fine without him, and now i'm fine without him.
don't mention how i love him, which is still as much as it's ever been.
just, i learn how to live my life without him.
see, i'm focusing more to my future, to what i wanna do, and what i've always wanted to do.
no boys around, please.
i've had enough with boys. men can wait.
see, this ability to get up, to bounce back when you're rejected or fail, the ability to recover from difficult situation is what you called resilient.
i heard this from A.R.Bernard, a pastor from NYC that came over to Jakarta preaching at a church.
in order to be resilient, you gotta:
- have passion for life, someone else's life, and passion for a price that you have to pay.
- have forgiveness in you heart.
- have hopes, a desire for better future.
- have faith; a strong belief that you can achieve that future that you want!
he said that rejection is part of life. it's inevitable.
you gotta be persistent, and have determination.
motivate and encourage yourself! don't count on people! count on God only. especially in times of failure and rejection.
thank God, i already have all those criteria that are needed even before i realize it, in this early age.
now, nothing could ever brings me down.
"the hardest part of achieving success is to get through the crowd on the lowest stage."
be blessed! xoxo
